The purpose and tasks of the cycle commission

The Purpose. Improving the quality of training of future professionals in service industry by combining theoretical knowledge and their practical application on the basis of modern information technologies that can be implemented in the process of professional development.

Improving the system of training future specialists in the hospitality industry based on a combination of theoretical knowledge, formed practical skills and modern information technology and modern communication mechanisms.

Tasks:

  • Increasing the professional competencies of teachers through self-education and methodological work.

• Strengthening interdisciplinary links with basic and applied education and, on this basis, develop subject, key and professional competencies.

Carrying out individualization of the educational process and improving the system of autonomous work of students.

• Formation of general competencies and learning outcomes of the professional junior bachelor, involving students in educational and research activities.

studying , implementing and promoting modern pedagogical experience.

improving the complexes of educational and methodological support for teaching the subjects of the cycle commission.

Developing and improving the system of programmed control of the cycle commission subjects.

Formation of competencies:

• Ability to identify strategic priorities and analyze the specifics of local, regional, national and global strategies for the hospitality industry.

• Ability to use professional tools of methodological principles of tourism development, resource potential of countries, regions: marketing, tourist information, service technology, technology of compiling a tourism product to solve typical problems of the profession.

• Ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems in the learning process and in the economic activities of service entities.

• Ability to critically understand the relationship between cultural, social and economic processes.

• Ability to exercise their rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values ​​of civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine.

• Ability to preserve and increase the moral, cultural, scientific values ​​of society based on understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general knowledge system, use different types and forms of physical activity for recreation and healthy living.

Ability to identify, use, interpret, critically analyze sources of information in the field of service management.

• Ability to act socially responsible.

• Ability to adhere to the norms of professional ethics in the process of solving social, cultural, economic issues.
